January 2022 ~ New in the Shop
I believe in slow and gentle beginnings. January is a quiet, thoughtful month, a welcome respite from the busyness that comes in the run up to December.
This week I’ve finally had the energy and time to work on updating my website with my current offerings.

I’ve begun a Shop page offering my hand sculpted silver jewellery. This is a small collection of pieces at the moment, but it will grow.

I also have several of my original paintings available to purchase. Some of them it will be tough to release to the world as they mean so much to me, as part of my own story. But it’s only right they should help another person tell their story now, enrich their lives as these
I’ve made a home for my art prints on my Shop pages that make finding and purchasing easier. I work with a professional art printing company to produce each print only when ordered. As a one woman business (and managing a chronic illness) I would never have the energy to manage this side of my offerings.
I’m also excited to say I've begun offering a small selection of digital printable art posters. This way a customer buys the digital file and can print it for themselves either at home or at a local printer. Super convenient and is free from shipping or other fees that often accompany a physical item.
I’ve also made a home here for my custom printed merchandise. These items are custom printed with my own art, then cut and sewn and shipped only when ordered. I work with a fantastic professional production company here in Canada so the quality is very high.
Ready or not (I tell myself) its time to stop holding back. Time to release my work in its various forms to those who’ve inquired and desired to purchase.
It’s funny how I get caught up - stuck in fact - on the details. This focus often results in me not taking action. Well, its time to press on and figure out the details as I go. Its ok to leave room for fine tuning.
For example, packaging ~ I want my work to feel as special to my collectors as is does to me as I make it. I value hand crafted, locally made things, preferring not to purchase much that must be shipped overseas. This has been a deeply held value of mine long before the more recent issues of supply chains and ships waiting in ports.
